Gil's vast portfolio of poignant, timeless music is nothing short of astounding. In 1977, Gil recorded the album Bridges with his longtime collaborator Brian Jackson. This album brought us many indelible songs such as "We Almost Lost Detroit", “Song Of The Wind" and a tune called “Racetrack In France" which is about an outdoor concert that Gil and his band, The Midnight Band, held on a racetrack in Marseille, France. In this song, Gil testifies that powerful music can move people no matter what language they speak. Even though Gil and his band were a long way from Union Station (Gil being originally from Chicago), their music was still celebrated by the people who gathered at Marseille on this special day. This t-shirt design highlights the main lyrics of the song “Racetrack In France” with a Stereo8 shaped racetrack being depicted. Ed’s work for musicians began in Seattle after moving from Sydney, Australia, to attend the University of Washington where he befriended members of the burgeoning music scene. After creating much of the early cover art for the band Mudhoney, his illustration career began in earnest. In the years since, Ed has contributed illustrated graphics for a myriad of artists including Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, Bo Diddley, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, and local pals Mudhoney.
